We are looking for someone with experience in the administration of multiple sensitive and complex cases relating to domestic abuse to join our small community safety team working in Preston

The post offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience in dealing with people to prevent domestic abuse and it is essential that you have experience of providing a high standard of customer care and are committed to your own professional development.

An ability to communicate with people, both verbally and in writing, build relationships, administer sensitive, confidential information and work as part of a team are essential requirements. Ideally, you will also have recent experience in an administrative role involving multi-agency case work and action planning and have a sound and current knowledge of the legislation and statutory guidance relating to Domestic Abuse Related Death Reviews.

There are requirements for some working outside of normal office hours using our flexible working scheme, but this will be infrequent and only when essential. The role will include close liaison with organisations to obtain and manage sensitive information provided in relation to the reviews and to monitor actions carried as a requirement of the review.

If you feel that you have the skills required to work with multi-agency partners and an Independent Chair and would like to join a supportive environment, then we would like to hear from you.

As an employer we like to thank our employees for their hard work and commitment by giving them the opportunity to access a range of employee benefits including flexi time, hybrid working, a minimum of 28 days’ annual leave (plus Bank Holidays), family friendly policies, access to an Employee Assistance Programme, Local Government Pension Scheme, AVC’s, life assurance scheme, payment of professional fees, discounted parking, bus and rail fares, a cycle to work scheme.
