Overview
Salary: £46,142 - £51,356 per annum | Permanent, Full time | 37 hours per week | Construction & Programming Team | Preston County Hall (Hybrid)
We are currently recruiting… A Senior Quantity Surveyor to work within the Construction & Programming Team within the Property Service at Lancashire County Council
.
- Project Leadership - Lead multiple, complex, small to large value construction projects to be delivered on time and within budget. Oversee projects such as new schools, school extensions, office and public buildings, school refurbishments and more. Manage the Quantity Surveying discipline on each phase, maintain budget control, provide professional guidance, adhere to legislative practice, and lead within multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality client service.
- Communication & Collaboration - Communicate specialist advice at all levels, collaborate with in-house design teams (Architects, Building Surveyors, Project Managers, Mechanical, Electrical and Structural Engineers) and key service areas (Estates, FM, etc.). Engage stakeholders to deliver results, listen, guide and collaborate to achieve project objectives.
- Project Leadership - An influential, organised Senior Quantity Surveyor with a directive approach to lead multiple complex projects and deliver value for the client.
- Communication & Collaboration - Strong interpersonal skills to challenge the status quo and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
