Full-Time | Permanent The Company A well-established regional contractor is seeking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a prestigious residential development in Preston. The Role This Assistant Quantity Surveyor position will be based full-time on a residential construction project in Preston. You will be joining an established commercial team consisting of a Senior Quantity Surveyor and a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, providing an excellent opportunity to further develop your commercial skills and progress your career. Working closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will assist with the day-to-day commercial management of the project, supporting cost control, subcontractor management and commercial reporting throughout the construction programme.

What Were Looking For Ideally, we are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 12 to 18 months' experience within the construction sector. Main Contractor experience is preferred, although candidates from other construction backgrounds will also be considered. Residential sector experience would be advantageous but is not essential. HNC, HND or Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.

Strong numerical and analytical skills. Excellent communication and organisational abilities. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop. Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work. What's on Offer Salary between £40,000 and £45,000 depending on experience. Excellent company benefits package.
