Site Manager

Our client, a well-established main contractor specialising in refurbishment projects, is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a 14-week window replacement programme on an occupied student accommodation development in Preston. The project will start on the 20th July.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Site Manager with experience delivering refurbishment works in live environments, where maintaining strong communication with residents is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of the window replacement programme.
• Coordinate subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
• Liaise with residents and the accommodation management team to coordinate access for window installations and keep occupants informed of planned works.
• Ensure all health & safety procedures are adhered to and maintain a safe working environment.
• Complete site documentation, including daily diaries, RAMS, permits, and progress reports.
• Carry out quality inspections and manage snagging to ensure a high standard of finish.

Requirements
