A Headteacher at a warm and nurturing primary school in Preston is looking for a dedicated Year 1/2 Teacher to join their team as soon as possible on a permanent basis. • Primary SEN setting (predominantly behavioural needs)
• All pupils have an EHCP
• Small class sizes: 8 pupils per class with 2 TAs

• A strong team player with excellent behaviour management
• Experienced or confident working with pupils with behavioural or SEMH needs
• Skilled in de-escalation and maintaining a calm, consistent approach
• Child-centred, nurturing and able to build positive, trusting relationships
• Adaptable, resilient and emotionally robust
• Skilled in delivering differentiated and personalised learning to meet EHCP targets
• Confident in EYFS practice and able to apply it to early primary learners
• A clear and confident communicator with staff, parents and external professionals

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
