Are you passionate about helping learners succeed in their apprenticeship journey? Do you thrive in a role that combines coaching, delivery, and learner engagement? The Colleges’ Partnership is looking for a dedicated and confident Apprenticeship Assessor to join our team at Weeton Barracks. In this key role, you will support apprentices across their programme, from induction to completion—delivering high-quality training, conducting reviews, and ensuring compliance throughout the learner journey.

You will work closely with military learners, using your teaching, assessment, and coaching skills to guide them through their Functional Skills and vocational qualifications, while offering tailored support and feedback.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering and assessing apprenticeship standards and Functional Skills English and Maths up to Level 2
  • Conducting regular progress reviews and training sessions
  • Supporting learners through induction, mentoring, and exit processes
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring audit compliance
  • Collaborating with delivery and admin teams to ensure quality and consistency
What you’ll bring
  • A relevant teaching/assessing qualification (or willingness to work towards it)
  • Experience working in an FE, training provider, or military learning environment
  • Strong communication, organisation, and learner support skills
  • The ability to adapt your delivery to meet individual needs and learning styles
  • A commitment to quality, safeguarding, and continuous improvement
