We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Preston. This full-time role will involve supporting a Year 4 pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they have the tailored support needed to thrive both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for a child with SEN.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering adaptive learning strategies.
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional well‑being.
  • Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Candidates with backgrounds in support work, behaviour management, SEMH support, or care work are strongly encouraged to apply - your skills are highly transferable!
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children's needs.
