Full-Time Reception (EYFS) Class Teacher

We are seeking to appoint a warm, enthusiastic and committed Reception (EYFS) Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team at our faith school, located near Garstang.

This is a full-time position (1.0 FTE), starting 13th April 2026, for a fixed term of 12 months.

About the Role

The successful candidate will:

Take responsibility for a Reception class within the Early Years Foundation Stage

Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework

Foster a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment

Work closely with colleagues, parents and carers to support every child’s development

Support and uphold the Christian ethos and values of our faith school

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Is a qualified teacher with QTS (applications from ECTs are welcome)

Has a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and effective early years practice

Is caring, reflective and passionate about teaching young children

Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills

Is supportive of the aims and ethos of a faith-based school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
