Position OverviewTeaching Assistant – Part‑time, Monday to Friday 09:00‑12:00, 13:00‑15:30, Level 2B (Grade
5)
Salary is quoted as full‑time equivalent; the part‑time salary will be paid on a pro‑rata basis.
This role supports children with Special Educational Needs (SEND) and early years experience in a primary school setting.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist teachers and support children with SEND and early years needs, facilitating classroom activities and providing one‑to‑one support as required.
Desirable Qualifications- NVQ Level 2 or above qualification – appropriate to the post (or equivalent)
- Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy
- Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age
- Experience of working in a relevant classroom or service environment
- Experience of supporting pupils with SEND or challenging behaviour
- Experience of working with EYFS pupils
