Job Overview

Humly North West is acting as an employment business to recruit a reliable and experienced Teaching Assistant for a full‑time Year 4 role at a primary school in Preston, starting in September 2026 and continuing for the full academic year.

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a classroom setting.
• Confident supporting pupils in KS2, ideally Year 4.
• Ability to support learning, routines and pupil engagement.
• Comfortable working with small groups and individual pupils.
• Reliable, proactive and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.

Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour

Schedule:

Full‑time, term time only

You’ll be supporting a Year 4 class throughout the school year, helping pupils stay engaged, confident and on track with their learning. This is a strong opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who enjoys KS2 and wants consistency in one school from September.
