About the Role

• Deliver high‑quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan, prepare and assess engaging lessons that support student progress.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes achievement.
• Monitor and track pupil performance, providing feedback and support where needed.
• Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team and school leadership.
• Uphold safeguarding procedures and contribute to the overall wellbeing of students.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet a range of learning needs.
• A professional, proactive, and adaptable approach.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
