Justteachers is seeking an Autism Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant specialist school in the Preston area on a long‑term basis. The full‑time post is due to start in April 2026

- Providing 1:1 and group support to students with autism, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.
- Assisting teachers with differentiated lesson planning to meet individual student needs.
- Supporting students in developing social, emotional, and communication skills through structured interventions.
- Relevant qualifications in education or special educational needs support.
- Proven experience supporting students with autism and additional needs in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of autism strategies
, including PECS, Makaton, or other communication methods. - Two education or school‑based references
.
