Summary

Teaching Assistant Level 2a – 1:1 SEND Support

Location

St Mary's Roman Catholic Primary School, Chipping, Club Lane, Chipping, Preston, Lancashire, PR3 2QH

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil with SEND
  • Work 2 days per week (term time only) – Thursday and Friday
  • Support the pupil’s learning, communication and wellbeing within the school community
  • Collaborate with classroom staff and other support professionals to deliver the pupil’s Individual Education Plan
Working Hours & Salary

Part‑time, 2 days per week. Salary based on full‑time equivalent and paid pro rata. Potential for increased hours or a full‑time role in the future.

Qualifications
  • Essential: GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics
  • Desirable: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, First Aid qualification, and evidence of continued professional development
Experience
  • Essential:
    Experience in a school or Early Years setting
  • Desirable:
    Experience working with children with complex needs
