About the role
Justteachers are recruiting for a Behaviour Support Worker to join a specialist SEMH school in the Preston area on a long-term basis. The full-time post is due to start in April 2026
; immediate start dates may also be available, with shortlisting currently taking place.

Key Responsibilities- Working closely with teaching staff and other professionals to implement behaviour support strategies
- Assisting in the development and delivery of individual support plans to improve engagement and progress
- Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs in and out of the classroom
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience supporting children or young people with SEMH or behavioural needs
- Strong knowledge of behaviour management strategies and de‑escalation techniques
- Two education or school-based references
