About the role:

Justteachers is seeking a KS2 Teacher to join a specialist SEND school in the Preston area. This full-time role is available on a long-term or permanent basis, starting in September 2026
, with shortlisting currently taking place.

This nurturing and inclusive school supports children with a range of complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), and significant developmental delays. The team is committed to delivering a personalised, sensory-based curriculum that promotes engagement, communication, and emotional wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and delivering highly differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs
Using multi-sensory and therapeutic approaches to support pre-formal and early learning development
Collaborating with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure holistic progress

Pre-requisites:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with children with complex SEND, including those working below age‑related expectations
Strong understanding of pre-formal learning, sensory integration, and communication strategies
Two education or school-based references
