Job Description
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students in Preston, Leyland. Axcis is looking for Level 2 or Level 3 qualified candidates to work closely with teachers to create a positive and inclusive educational experience for all students.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support to students in and out of the classroom, including one‑on‑one assistance or small group activities.
- Assist with planning and implementing educational activities and lessons.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and adapt activities to meet individual needs.
- Assist in the maintenance of a safe and nurturing classroom environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure the overall success of the educational programme.
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to helping students succeed.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork.
This is a temporary position, unless stated otherwise.
