Overview
A mainstream primary school in East London is looking for a confident and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (TA) to join their team on an ongoing supply basis, with opportunities that can lead to long-term and potentially permanent positions. This is a full-time role, working across the primary age range, supporting teaching and learning while helping pupils remain engaged and make progress in the classroom.
Responsibilities- Support teaching and learning across the primary age range
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to promote pupil progress and engagement
- Teaching Assistant (TA) – Mainstream Primary School in East London
- Start: ASAP
- Contract:
Ongoing supply with potential for long-term and permanent opportunities - Hours:
Full-time, 5 days per week
- Previous experience working in a mainstream primary school setting (essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, supportive, and proactive approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
- Must be DBS (CRB) checked and compliant
