Overview

A mainstream primary school in East London is looking for a confident and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (TA) to join their team on an ongoing supply basis, with opportunities that can lead to long-term and potentially permanent positions. This is a full-time role, working across the primary age range, supporting teaching and learning while helping pupils remain engaged and make progress in the classroom.

Responsibilities
  • Support teaching and learning across the primary age range
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to promote pupil progress and engagement
Position details
  • Teaching Assistant (TA) – Mainstream Primary School in East London
  • Start: ASAP
  • Contract:

    Ongoing supply with potential for long-term and permanent opportunities
  • Hours:

    Full-time, 5 days per week
Candidate requirements
  • Previous experience working in a mainstream primary school setting (essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A patient, supportive, and proactive approach
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
  • Must be DBS (CRB) checked and compliant
