Are you a Horticulture, Groundsperson or Landscaping professional looking to step into a teaching role where you can help develop the next generation of learners?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading land-based college as a Trainee or Fully Qualified Lecturer in Horticulture, with full training and support provided to help you gain your teaching qualification (if required). You'll use your hands‑on industry knowledge to deliver engaging, practical and theory-based learning and support students to achieve key qualifications and progress into work.

In this role, you'll plan and deliver Horticulture lessons, support learners through tutorials and progress tracking, and ensure assessment and feedback is completed to a high standard. You'll also contribute to course planning, quality processes and strengthening employer links to keep delivery aligned with the industry.
The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification in Horticulture (or a green space related subject) and have relevant industry experience. No teaching experience is required, as full training and qualifications will be provided.

The Role- Deliver classroom and practical Horticulture lessons
- Support learners through tutorials, targets and progression planning
- Mark assessments and track progress using digital systems
- Contribute to curriculum planning, quality processes and employer engagement
- Level 3 qualification in Horticulture (or related green space subject)
- Strong industry experience in Horticulture/green space/landscaping
- Motivated to move into teaching and inspire learners
- Based within a commutable distance of Preston
