Axcis Education are looking for Teaching Assistants to work with an Ofsted judged Good SEND school, which caters for students with additional needs and physical disabilities. The school is based centrally in the Preston area and caters for secondary aged students who have special educational needs. The school is a SEND school and class sizes are generally under 12 students per class.
The school are looking to appoint a teaching assistant who has experience working with children or adults, who have SEND and ideally, have experience in an education setting or similar. The school boasts a large on site car park and state of the art facilities. The students who attend this school have a range of needs including autism, downs syndrome, ADHD, physical disabilities and moderate learning difficulties - some of the students in this school may require personal care.
The role would be full-time and school hours are 8.30am - 3.30pm Monday - Friday. The role could start as soon as possible on a long-term basis. The Preston-based school are looking for a committed member of staff to work with students who require additional support. The candidate should be hard working, empathetic, confident and have some SEND experience as well as some experience working with children.
The candidate should be available full time and be seeking a role in a forward-thinking provision. Pay for this role starts at £14.30 per hour. INDLAN
