Veritas Education is working closely with a well-established SEN school in Blackpool who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurturing, committed and resilient teacher looking to make an impact on the lives of children with additional needs.

The successful SEN Teacher will:

• Teach small classes of pupils with a range of needs, including ASC, MLD, SLD, SEMH and communication difficulties.
• Deliver creative, differentiated lessons that engage learners at all ability levels.
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists and senior leaders.
• Create a safe, structured and positive learning environment.
• Monitor progress and keep accurate records in line with school policy.
• Use a therapeutic, trauma-informed and child-centred approach.

• A welcoming, inclusive SEN school in Preston with a highly supportive leadership team.
• Excellent specialist facilities designed for pupils with additional needs.
• Strong emphasis on teamwork, well-being and professional development.

• QTS or QTLS.
• Experience working in an SEN setting or with pupils with additional learning needs.
• A calm, patient and proactive teaching style.
• Strong behaviour management and the ability to adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
• Resilience, reliability and a genuine desire to make a difference.
