We are seeking to appoint a passionate, nurturing and experienced teaching assistant to join our happy and dynamic staff team. The role involves providing support for pupils with additional needs, specifically ASD and SEMHin Key Stage
2. Queen's Drive Primary School is two-form entry with 432delightful children in our school familysituated in Fulwood.

Our pupils are driven by an exciting curriculum created for our children here at Queen's Drive, complemented by enthusiastic, knowledgeable and nurturing staff. Our teachers love to teach and inspire a desire to learn and make progress amongst all pupils. We are blessed with amazing outdoor places including a huge green field, mile-a-day track, Forest School Area, MUGA and an extensive early years outdoor space.

This position is 31.25 hours from 8.45am until 3.30pm, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro–rata basis. Please note that this vacancy is permanent.

Essential Qualifications
  • NVQ level 2 or above qualification –appropriate to the post (or equivalent).
  • Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English and Mathematics.
Desirable Qualifications
  • First Aid training.
  • Safeguarding training.
Essential Experience
  • Working with children in KS2.
  • Supporting pupils with SEN.
Desirable Experience
  • Working with children who have ASD/ communication delay/ SEMH needs
