We are looking to appoint someone highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant to join our happy and dynamic staff team. This role includes lunchtime supervision, supporting pupils in class, providing intervention programmes and supporting small groups of children. Hours are variable (minimum of 5hour) Monday to Friday. We require a person who can work effectively within a team and can demonstrate professionalism and a commitment to school improvement and high standards in a family environment.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro –rata basis.

• NVQ level 2 or above qualification appropriate to the post (or equivalent.)
• Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy.

• Paediatric First Aid.

• Experience of working in a KS2classroom environment.
• Ability to relate well to all children.
• Ability to work as part of a team with good communication skills.
• Undertake playground supervision, set up and run activities for pupils in playground areas.

• Experience of meeting SEND needs and monitoring progress.
