Ingol Community Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and highly motivated Teaching Assistant Level 3 to work within our SEND Designated Classroom. This is an exciting opportunity to join a committed and supportive team dedicated to providing outstanding provision for pupils with a range of special educational needs.
The successful candidate will have experience of supporting children with SEND and a strong understanding of inclusive practice. They will work closely with teaching staff, SEND leaders, families and external agencies to ensure that every child receives the support they need to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro –rata basis.

Essential Qualifications- Holds a relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Has experience of working with pupils with SEND, including those with communication and interaction needs, cognition and learning needs, and social, emotional and mental health needs.
- Can adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is patient, nurturing and committed to helping children succeed.
- Experience of supporting pupils with a range of needs, including communication and interaction difficulties, cognition and learning needs, social, emotional and mental health needs, and sensory or physical needs.
- Experience of implementing personalised support strategies and adapting learning activities to meet individual pupil needs.
