The Governors of Our Lady & St Gerard's Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team.

The contract is a variable hours contract, with hours ranging from 10 to 37 hours per week, initially set at 30 hours per week.

This is a part-time, term-time-only position. The salary quoted is the full-time equivalent; the actual salary paid will be on a pro-rata basis.

• Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy
• Maths GCSE or equivalent
• English GCSE or equivalent

• NVQ level 2 or above qualification –appropriate to the post (or equivalent)
• Paediatric first aid

• Experience of working with or caring for children of primary age
• Knowledge/skills/abilities in inclusive practice
• Experience in supporting children with SEND
• Ability to operate at a level of understanding and competence equivalent to NVQ Level 2 standard
• Ability to relate well to children
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Good communication skills

• Experience in welfare lunchtime role (the roles will have a welfare responsibility)
• Experience in supporting within Forest School/Outdoor play and learning
