Job SummaryThe Governors of Our Lady & St Gerard's Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team.

The contract is a variable hours contract, with hours ranging from 10 to 37 hours per week, initially set at 30 hours per week.

This is a part-time, term-time-only position. The salary quoted is the full-time equivalent; the actual salary paid will be on a pro-rata basis.
Closing Date:
Friday 25th September at 12 noon
- Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy
- Maths GCSE or equivalent
- English GCSE or equivalent
- NVQ level 2 or above qualification –appropriate to the post (or equivalent)
- Paediatric first aid
- Experience of working with or caring for children of primary age
- Knowledge/skills/abilities in inclusive practice
- Experience in supporting children with SEND
- Ability to operate at a level of understanding and competence equivalent to NVQ Level 2 standard
- Ability to relate well to children
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Experience in welfare lunchtime role (the roles will have a welfare responsibility)
- Experience in supporting within Forest School/Outdoor play and learning
