School website:  Summary The Governors of Queen's Drive Primary School are seeking to appoint a passionate, nurturing and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our happy and dynamic staff team. The role involves providing support for pupils with additional needs, specifically ASD and SEMH. Queen's Drive Primary School is two-form entry with 434 children on roll, situated in Fulwood. We have close links to the M55 and M6 nearby and we are on a frequent bus route from the town center,making our school accessible for many.

Our children are driven by an exciting curriculum, complemented by enthusiastic, knowledgeable and nurturing staff. Our teachers love to teach and inspire a desire to learn and make progress amongst all pupils. We are blessed with amazing outdoor space including a huge green field, mile-a-day track, Forest School Area, MUGA and an extensive early years outdoor space. Our school values;

This is a temporary position to cover maternity leave and is for 31.25 hours per week from 8.45am - 3.30pm Mon
- Fri, term time only. The salary quoted is the full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 or above qualification - appropriate to the post (or equivalent).
  • Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English & Maths.
Desirable Qualifications
  • First Aid training.
  • Safeguard training.
Essential Experience
  • Working with primary school children.
  • Supporting pupils with SEN.
Desirable Experience
  • Working with children who have ASD/communication delay/SEMH needs
