General Classroom Teaching Assistant (KS1) - Full Time

Location: Penwortham

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 3:30pm

Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding full-time role within a welcoming primary school? We are currently recruiting for a KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Penwortham
, providing classroom-based support to pupils and teachers across Key Stage 1.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about helping children reach their full potential in a nurturing learning environment.

• Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
• Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and build confidence.
• Assisting with phonics, reading, writing, and early maths development.
• Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupil participation.
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Contributing to pupil progress through effective classroom support.

• Previous experience supporting children within a classroom setting is essential
  .
• A Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level
  3) is desirable but not essential.
• Good understanding of the KS1 curriculum and child development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to supporting learning.

• Competitive hourly rate of £14.25 per hour
