The Governing Body of Walton-Le-Dale Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and nurturing Teaching Assistant to work in EYFS. The rolewillinvolve working with individual children as well as supportingsmall groupsto support the education, personal and social development of pupils, including those with special needs.

The hours are 8.45am - 3.15pm Monday to Friday with an hour off for lunch.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro –rata basis.

• NVQ Level 2 qualification or above appropriate to the post (or equivalent)

• Paediatric First Aid Level 3

• Experience of working with or caring for children

• Experience of working in a classroom environment
• Experience of working in EYFS
• Experience of supporting pupils with special needs
• Experience of deliveringa synthetic phonics scheme
