Planner, Engineering, Environmental​/ Urban Planning

We’re working with a highly regarded independent planning consultancy that is looking to appoint a talented Town Planner to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a planner who wants exposure to a varied project portfolio, genuine career progression, and the chance to work within a collaborative and supportive environment. The successful candidate will work across a broad range of planning projects, supporting clients through the planning process from initial appraisal through to submission and determination.

The role offers the opportunity to work on residential, commercial, mixed-use, and strategic development schemes across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and managing planning applications and appeals Undertaking site appraisals and planning research Liaising with local authorities, consultants, and stakeholders Preparing planning statements and supporting documentation Advising clients on planning strategy and development potential Attending client meetings, consultations, and site visits Requirements:
Degree qualified in Town Planning or related discipline MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership Previous experience within a planning consultancy or local authority environment Strong report writing and communication skills Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem solving Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively What’s on
