Infrastructure Engineer

VIQU is recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their IT Infrastructure team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled professional with a strong background in data centre operations, Windows infrastructure, virtualisation, and Microsoft cloud technologies.

The successful Infrastructure Engineer will play a key role in maintaining business-critical infrastructure across both on-premise data centres and Azure environments while contributing to a variety of infrastructure improvement and transformation projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring, maintaining and supporting infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Performing routine system health checks, security reviews and infrastructure maintenance.
• Troubleshooting technical issues, resolving incidents and managing service requests.
• Administering and maintaining Windows Server, VMware and Microsoft 365 platforms.
• Supporting core infrastructure services including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, VPN, WSUS, SCCM, monitoring tools and Multi-Factor Authentication.
