Reporting to the Commercial Finance Director, this is a high profile role that will sit at the heart of commercial decision making across the business. You'll work closely with senior finance, commercial and operational stakeholders, providing insight and analysis that drives revenue growth, profitability and business performance.
This is an opportunity to step into a visible position where you'll influence pricing strategy, challenge commercial performance, support growth initiatives and help shape the future of the commercial finance function.Key Responsibilities
- Lead customer profitability and contract economics analysis
- Support pricing decisions, commercial negotiations and strategic initiatives
- Deliver insightful analysis on revenue, margins, customer performance and commercial trends
- Partner with Commercial, Contracts and Data teams to improve decision making and performance
- Produce revenue forecasts, variance analysis and performance reporting
- Provide financial input into bids, tenders and growth opportunities
- Challenge forecast accuracy, pipeline quality and revenue performance
- Oversee revenue assurance, invoicing accuracy and commercial controls
- Monitor working capital performance, cash collection and aged debt
- Drive process improvements, automation and enhanced reporting capabilities
- Lead and develop members of the commercial finance team
- Experience with in a Commercial Finance, FP&A or Finance Business Partnering role
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen
- The ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insight
- Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders
- Confidence influencing and challenging senior decision makers
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities
- A proactive approach and desire to drive continuous improvement
- Salary of £65,000 - £70,000
