The Role

A leading law firm in Preston is on the lookout for a dynamic, commercially minded Finance Manager to join its high-performing team, working directly with the Finance Director. You’ll play a key role in how the firm understands its numbers, turning financial data into powerful insights that drive smarter business decisions and future growth.

• Lead the delivery of accurate, insightful financial reports that tell the real story behind performance
• Streamline, automate, and modernise finance processes to unlock more value
• Enhance MI and data tools to give leadership smarter, faster insights
• Partner across Finance, IT, and Operations to deliver bolder reporting capabilities
• Provide strategic analysis and commentary that shape commercial decisions

• Strong financial background and experience in reporting, analysis, and process improvement
• Advanced Excel skills and a passion for turning data into decisions
• Commercial acumen, sound judgement, and great communication skills
• A track record of driving change and delivering measurable results
