Management Accountant

The Finance Team is a key function within our business, covering financial reporting, analysis, budgeting and forecasting across multiple divisions. They play a vital role in supporting strategic decision‑making by providing accurate, timely insights and partnering with stakeholders across the organisation. Operating in a fast‑paced, growth‑focused environment, the team is instrumental in driving performance, improving processes and ensuring strong financial control.

• Take full responsibility for P&L, balance sheet and cashflow reporting
• Produce monthly management accounts across multiple cost centres
• Analyse revenue and costs, providing clear commentary on variances
• Prepare and post accruals, prepayments and other month‑end journals
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure financial accuracy
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes
• Prepare VAT returns and support regulatory compliance
• Contribute to the annual audit process
• Work closely with senior stakeholders and budget holders
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and systems
• Deliver insightful financial analysis to support business performance
• Support payroll processing and ad hoc reporting

• A starting salary up to £40,000, depending on experience

• Experience working within a finance function (placement, internship or similar)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with advanced Excel capability
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teams
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Experience with finance systems such as Xero or Microsoft Dynamics (desirable)
• A proactive and adaptable approach with a willingness to learn
• ACCA, CIMA or ACA part‑qualified, or working towards a finance qualification (or QBE)
