Principal Accountant – Schools

Responsibilities

• manage a team of experts within Financial Management at Lancashire County Council
• tackle financial challenges and provide practical advice to service areas and Lancashire Schools
• report findings and details to senior management and external boards
• advise and work with the service to prioritise financial needs

• outstanding Accountant with an abundance of experience and knowledge in finance
• ability to report findings to Heads of Service, Directors and External Boards
• strong interpersonal skills to build last relationships with seniors and teams
• effective prioritisation in resource allocation

Demonstrates extensive expertise in Financial Management, with a strong ability to advise on financial challenges and prioritize resource allocation effectively. Proven track record in reporting findings to senior management and external boards while fostering strong interpersonal relationships.
