What you will do:

• Provide specialist mental health assessments and interventions to adults within the community setting.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and review care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Offer support and education to individuals, families, and carers, assisting them in managing mental health conditions.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management plans to ensure patient safety.
• Engage in multi-disciplinary team meetings, providing valuable input and advocating for the needs of service users.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with professional and legal standards.

Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Mental Health Nursing.
• Experience working as a Mental Health Nurse in a community setting.
• Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) is mandatory.
