What you will do:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients with dysphagia and provide specialised treatment plans tailored to their individual needs.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care and explore innovative approaches to therapy.
• Implement and review communication strategies for patients to ensure optimal service delivery and improved client outcomes.
• Offer educational sessions for caregivers and staff to enhance understanding and management of dysphagia and communication disorders.
• Document assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with the standards and policies of the NHS and your professional body.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Speech and Language Therapy with HCPC registration.
• Demonstrated experience and training in dysphagia management and adult communication disorders.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a community-based team and deliver specialist SLT input.
