. We are looking for people that have the right values, attitude, and behaviours to join our team and we are currently recruiting for a Residential Casual Care Assistant
. This is a casual position and you will be required to cover for existing staff sickness and holidays. Within this role you will be able to work up to 37 hours per week. Shift Patterns include - 08:00 - 15:30, 15:30 - 22:00 and nights including 22:00 - 08:00. Our committed team provides care to more than 1,000 adults across Lancashire.

It runs 16 Care Homes and 13 Day Centres where the team provides support for older people, adults living with dementia and their families. We have recently been awarded the national Customer Service Excellence Standard and received special recognition for our hard work.

Local Government Reorganisation

The Government has confirmed that local government across Lancashire will be reorganised, with the current 15 councils being replaced by four new unitary councils covering North, South, East and West Lancashire from April 2028.

If you are successful in your application, you will initially join Lancashire County Council. However, as part of the planned transition, your employment will transfer to one of the new unitary councils from April 2028, subject to the implementation of the reorganisation and relevant employment legislation.
