Recruitment Consultant

Overview

As our IT division continues to grow, we’re looking to add experienced Recruitment Consultants and Senior Recruitment Consultants to our Preston office. Whether your background is in technology recruitment already, or you’ve built a successful recruitment desk in another specialist sector, we’re interested in speaking to ambitious recruiters who enjoy developing lasting client relationships and building a market of their own.

You’ll join an established team with access to existing clients, signed agreements and active vacancies, giving you the opportunity to generate revenue quickly whilst developing your own portfolio of business across the technology market.

Success in recruitment comes from having the right support behind you. We’ve invested heavily in giving our consultants the tools they need to spend more time recruiting and less time on admin. You’ll have access to:

Our focus is simple – remove unnecessary barriers so our consultants can concentrate on winning business, building relationships and making placements.

You’ll take ownership of your own specialist technology market, managing the full recruitment process while developing both existing accounts and new client relationships.

• Building and maintaining relationships with IT professionals and technology hiring managers
• Growing existing client accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities
• Managing permanent recruitment assignments from initial briefing through to offer and placement
• Delivering retained, contingent and exclusive recruitment campaigns
• Developing genuine market expertise within your chosen technology vertical
• Acting as a trusted recruitment partner, providing advice and market insight to clients and candidates alike

We’re looking for people who are commercially driven, relationship-focused and motivated by building a successful desk over the long term.

• Recruitment experience within IT, technology or another specialist recruitment market
• Alternatively, a strong sales or business development background with the confidence to develop new business
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A consultative approach with strong commercial awareness
• Resilience, self-motivation and the determination to succeed
• A genuine interest in developing long-term partnerships with clients and candidates
