Recruitment Consultant – Social Care

Service Care Solutions is growing, and we’re looking for an ambitious and people-focused Recruitment Consultant to join our established Social Care division in Preston.

Working within our Qualified Social Work team, you’ll play a key role in connecting talented Social Workers with temporary and permanent opportunities across the UK. This is a highly relationship-driven role where you’ll build your own candidate network, identify new talent, and develop trusted, long-term relationships with professionals within the Social Care sector.

You’ll be working in a fast-paced, target-led environment, where no two days are the same. From proactively sourcing candidates and identifying suitable opportunities, through to arranging interviews, negotiating placements and supporting workers once they are in post, you’ll have ownership of the recruitment journey from start to finish.

Alongside candidate management, you’ll develop strong working relationships with Local Authorities, charities and private sector organisations, gaining valuable experience across both recruitment and business development.

• Proactively source and engage with Social Workers across the UK.
• Build and maintain your own database and network of candidates.
• Match candidates with suitable temporary and permanent opportunities.
• Manage the recruitment process from initial contact through to placement.
• Build strong and lasting relationships with candidates and clients.
• Support temporary workers throughout their assignments, including timesheet management.
• Work towards individual and team targets, with performance recognised and rewarded.
• Take ownership of your desk, developing your market knowledge and growing your portfolio over time.

That’s absolutely fine. You don’t need previous recruitment experience to succeed in this role.

Basic Salary of £2 6 ,000 - £28,000 depending on experience
