3rd Line Support Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - 45,000 per year

• We ideally require 5 years of support experience in an MSP environment.
• We need strong Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, and Windows Server skills.
• We need a good understanding of networking technologies, including switches such as HP Aruba and Meraki, wireless such as Ruckus and Ubiquiti, and firewalls such as Watch Guard.
• We require excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• We require proven customer service skills and a can-do attitude.
• We require the ability to obtain enhanced DBS clearance.

• We manage tickets in line with SLAs and keep customers well informed throughout.
• We take ownership of escalated tickets through to resolution.
• We support and mentor our 1st and 2nd line team to help them confidently handle more complex technical issues.
• We monitor and maintain client infrastructure and systems, responding proactively to alerts.
• We resolve complex issues across Microsoft 365, Azure, servers, networking, security, and cloud infrastructure.
• We act as the technical go-to person for escalations and support our engineers by sharing knowledge.
• We drive technical excellence and see issues through to completion.

We are an MSP recruiting exclusively for a 3rd line support engineer to join our office-based team in the Amersham area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, taking ownership of issues, and mentoring others. The role is Monday to Friday, day shifts, and offers a salary of £40,000 to £45,000 depending on experience.
