IT AV Technician

About the role

The University of Lancashire wishes to recruit an IT & AV Support Technician to join our Learning and Technical Resources team. The role holder will be part of our equipment loan hub which provides support and loaning of equipment for students and staff in a range of audio, visual and musical equipment.

• Conduct safety checks on IT and AV equipment.
• Perform equipment inventory checks and updates.
• Provide advice, demonstrations or inductions to students and staff as required.

• Experience of IT and AV technical support in a customer‑facing role.
• Strong customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, set priorities and work cooperatively with a diverse team.
• Level 3 qualification such as A Levels, BTEC or equivalent experiential learning.
