2nd Line Support Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - 42,000 per year

• We need a strong communicator with excellent customer service skills.
• We need someone with experience providing 1st and 2nd line support, ideally within an MSP serving multiple clients.
• We need strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365, especially SharePoint, and familiarity with Entra and Exchange.
• We need experience with Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.
• We need experience installing and administering Windows desktops and servers.
• We need networking knowledge including IP addressing, routing, switches, VLANs, and wireless networks.
• We need experience with network security, including firewalls and filtering.
• Having your own transport will be advantageous due to client site locations.

• We handle 1st and 2nd line support issues, with the occasional 3rd line issue.
• We visit client sites regularly and split our time between office‑based, client‑based, and home‑based work.
• We assist the helpdesk when we are not on site.
• We troubleshoot a wide variety of technical issues across multiple technologies.
• We prioritise tasks and organise effective solutions for support requests.

This is a varied support role offering a mix of office‑based, client‑based, and home‑based work. We support a broad range of technologies and are looking for a general all‑rounder who can grow and develop with us.
