SAFS Cleaner

Bridge Education is seeking a reliable and proactive School Cleaner to join a well‑maintained school site in Tarleton supporting the day‑to‑day running of the premises. This is a part‑time, long‑term position, responsible for ensuring the school environment is safe, secure and well‑presented for pupils, staff and visitors.

The school takes pride in maintaining high site standards, with a strong focus on health and safety, security and compliance, making it an excellent opportunity for a cleaner looking for a stable role in a school setting.

Competitive hourly rate £14.25 per hour.

Previous experience in caretaking, facilities, maintenance or a similar role.

• Basic DIY and maintenance skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Ability to work independently and manage workload
• Reliable and proactive approach
• Good communication skills
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Enhanced DBS on the updated service or willingness to apply

• Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs across the school site
• Ensure site security, including opening and closing the premises
• Conduct regular health and safety checks
• Maintain cleanliness of internal and external areas
• Liaise with contractors and external providers where required
• Support the smooth day‑to‑day running of the school site
