School Caretaker

An exciting full time, permanent opportunity has arisen for a School Caretaker colleague at Rednock School, to assist with the overall provision of safety, maintenance and janitorial services of our premises.

Are you organised, flexible and interested in manual and practical work? The role covers:

• Maintaining clean, safe and secure premises
• Handyperson activities, routine maintenance and refurbishment, porterage and minor repairs
• Promotion of health and safety around the school

As part of our school Site team, you may be working with colleagues or independently, depending on the nature of the task. This permanent post is full time, 37 hours per week, 10:00 - 18:00 Monday to Thursday; and 10:00-17:30 on Friday, all year round. The salary is Grade 4, pt 7 (actual £27,274 per annum). We are looking for a person able to start as soon as possible.
