We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Cleaner to join our friendly school team.
15 hours per week
Monday to Friday, 3.30pm-6.00pm
Term time plus 4 weeks.
This is an important role within our school community, helping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our children, staff and visitors. You will be part of a cleaning team with allocated areas within school.
The successful candidate will- Have high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas.
- Vacuuming, mopping and dusting.
- Cleaning toilet facilities.
- Emptying bins and replenishing consumables.
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the school.

- Friendly children who are enthusiastic about their school.

Essential Experience- Experience of carrying out cleaning duties to a high standard with good understanding of health and safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively and ability to follow cleaning schedules and instructions.
- Physically able to undertake cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending and standing for periods of time.
- Previous cleaning experience in a school, nursery, college or other educational setting and inusing professional cleaning equipment and products.
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe storage of cleaning materials.
- Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities within a school environment including site security.
- Relevant cleaning or health and safety qualifications/training.
