Part Time Cleaner

Preston North End Football Club are looking for an experienced, professional cleaner to join the team on a part-time, permanent basis.

The role is based at the First Team Training Ground. The successful candidate will form part of a small team based in Euxton, Chorley. Your role will be to ensure that your areas of responsibility are cleaned within a set period and ready for use by staff and professional footballers.

Your hours of work will be from 2pm to 7pm Monday to Friday. The minimum working hours per week will be 25.

On a regular basis, and in line with the players training schedule, you will be expected to work one day at the weekend and some bank holidays. Advance notice will be given and will be shared on a rotational basis within one other team member.

• Maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness, hgiene and presentation throughout the football training ground and associated facilities.
• Clean and maintain players and staff changing rooms, including showers, toilets, lockers, floors, benches and communal areas.
• Clean treatment rooms, medical areas and physiotherapy spaces, following appropriate hygiene and infection-control procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness within the hydrotherapy pool area, including surrounding floors, changing areas, showers and associated facilities.
• Clean and maintain canteen areas, including floors, surfaces, tables, chairs, staff areas and communal spaces.
• Clean administration offices, including desks, floors, communal areas, meeting spaces and other office facilities.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in meeting rooms, corridors, reception areas, and communal spaces.
• Clean and maintain toilets, and shower facilities, ensuring they are fully stocked with required consumables.
• Carry out routine vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting and sanitising across all designated areas.
• Work discreetly and professionally around players, coaches, medical staff, academy staff, visitors and senior management.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when working within sensitive areas of the training ground.
• Follow all club policies and procedures relating to health and safety, safeguarding, hygiene, security and confidentiality.

• Work in accordance with all Health & Safety legislation and club policies.
• Complete risk assessments and work safely using appropriate PPE.
• Maintain safe working practices in occupied areas during training sessions and events.
• Support compliance with fire safety, safeguarding and security procedures.
