Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 per year

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Dual-Registered Children’s Home Manager to oversee two 1-bed children’s residential homes in the Preston / Prestwich area. This is an excellent opportunity for an established manager seeking a well-supported role within small, specialist services focused on delivering high-quality care and positive outcomes for young people.

Key Responsibilities

Overall leadership and management of two solo children’s residential homes
Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
Lead, supervise, and develop staff teams to maintain excellent care delivery
Promote stable, therapeutic environments that support young people’s development
Manage budgets, resources, and operational performance
Maintain strong working relationships with external professionals and stakeholders
Requirements

Experience managing children’s residential homes (dual registration preferred)
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent
Strong understanding of safeguarding, children’s home regulations, and inspections
Confident leadership, organisational, and communication skills
Full UK driving licence preferred
