Are you passionate about supporting people to overcome homelessness and achieve lasting change? We are looking for an experienced and compassionate leader to join our Rough Sleeper Service as a Rough Sleeper Night Service Manager. Working alongside the Rough Sleeper Strategic Lead you will lead the overnight delivery of accommodation and support services for rough sleepers across multiple sites, ensuring safe, supportive and trauma-informed environments.

Working with a range of partner agencies, you will manage a dedicated team of Night Service Support Workers and play a key role in delivering the Council's commitment to ending rough sleeping.

Duties include
  • o Managing the overnight operation of assessment hubs and accommodation services.
  • o Leading and developing a team of Night Service Support Workers.
  • o Providing crisis management, safeguarding oversight and risk assessment.
  • o Working closely with partner agencies including Police, hospitals and emergency services.
  • o Coordinating emergency responses, including SWEP provision.
  • o Managing staffing rotas, supervision, training and performance.
  • o Monitoring budgets, service performance and government reporting requirements.
  • o Ensuring service users receive person-centred support and opportunities to move forward positively.
  • o Working across multiple sites with flexible shift patterns
  • o Experience of managing teams within homelessness, housing, social care or support services.
  • o Experience of working with vulnerable people who have complex needs.
  • o Strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk management and partnership working.
  • o Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
  • o A commitment to trauma-informed practice and delivering high-quality services.
  • o Relevant qualifications or substantial equivalent experience.
  • o A full UK driving licence is desirable.

This role involves evening, overnight and weekend working on a rota basis.
