Maintenance Engineer – Dorking

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

• Be the first responder to breakdowns across a wide range of equipment – from hand tools and compressors to heating systems and robotic welding cells.
• Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
• Drive preventative maintenance projects and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with contractors and internal teams to keep everything performing at its best.

• Essential:

  • City & Guilds or equivalent maintenance qualification.
  • Strong practical maintenance skills with a safety-first mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Driving Licence
  • Knowledge and experience working in a busy manufacturing environment

• Desirable:

  • Experience with TPM and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of PUWER, LOLER, and H&S standards (IOSH).
  • Familiarity with MS Office and record‑keeping systems.

• Competitive Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 p.a.
