An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the country’s leading food manufacturers. The company is a well‑established British manufacturer, a market leader within its field, and is expanding its engineering team due to continued growth.

• Apprentice Trained Engineer in Engineering
• Experience of PLC systems & Automated Machinery
• Understanding of PPM Systems within FMCG Manufacturing

The ideal candidate will come from an engineering background and work on their own initiative. Responsibilities include all day‑to‑day engineering and maintenance activities, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. The role involves fault finding on PLC‑controlled automated manufacturing machinery and working on a variety of food manufacturing equipment such as packaging machinery, wrappers, mixers, batch feeders, ovens and conveyors.

Must be a time‑served engineer with an electrical bias and experience in fast‑moving manufacturing environments. Ability to work with PLC systems and PPM systems is advantageous.
