Mechanical Craftsperson

Duration: 12 months

ASAP (subject to clearance)

Shift patterns: 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday

Pay rate: up to £22.53 PAYE

Location:

Preston (fully onsite)

• Provision of engineering skills to internal and external customers to agreed standards.
• Contribution to maintenance of production and project programmes.
• Contribution to the improvement of a safe environment and general housekeeping of the working area, particularly in their own area of responsibility.
• Active involvement in improvement projects and initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of developments in own trade and apply them to the workplace where appropriate.
• Where appropriate, assist in the training and development of others to appropriate standards.
• Compliance with all legislative, regulatory and company policy standards and procedures such as safety, quality, risk, security etc. applicable to the role.

• Recognised apprenticeship (Mechanical discipline)
